Sanya Joined Guinness Nigeria in April 2013 as a Retail Development Manager and has work experience in diverse roles at Guinness Nigeria, such as, Sales Operations and Automation, Distributor Transformation, Sales Capability Development and Field Sales Leadership in the West, East and Lagos regions.
Prior to joining the company in 2013, he worked with Next Retail Plc and a stint in banking. He has exhibited exceptional leadership in various capacities within the Commercial Function and valuable expertise to transform businesses through inspiring people, developing, and executing strategies. Notably, he led the Tools Infrastructure and Process critical pillar in “Project Runway” resetting the Distributor Structure and Distributor Finance Model in 2020. Sanya's purpose revolves around contributing positively, while leaving a lasting and improved impact in his encounters.
A graduate of Economics from the University of Lagos, he has further honed his leadership skills through advanced management programs at institutions like the University of Aberdeen, Oxford, Said Business School, and Lagos Business School. His commitment to excellence has earned him Diageo awards such as the Pride of Africa (POA) Presidents Awards (2021), Make a Difference (M.A.D Award) and the Best Division for F23 in the Nigerian Market at the 2023 Sales & Distributor Conference.
Beyond his professional achievements, Sanya a Tennis player, runner, and football enthusiast.
