Our Corporate Relations team plays a vital role in supporting this ambition, building our reputation and protecting our license to operate. With many different stakeholder groups with different views Guinness Nigeria’s reputation, our job is to build trust by demonstrating our character and competency, through our brands and business operations.

Corporate Communications

This team is responsible for developing and implementing the company integrated communication plan (internal & external), coordinating the communications output of the Organisation, and ensuring our stakeholders stay informed about our business. This includes driving effective Internal employee engagement & external communications that support key business agenda; leveraging the Sustainability and Alcohol in Society (AiS) agenda to create a differentiation and position the company as the leading Total Beverage Alcohol (TBA) Company in the industry; and managing Guinness Nigeria’s media interaction. They act as the gatekeepers for the organization; interfacing with the media, investors, key opinion leaders, employees, consumers and the wider public.

Sustainable Development & Alcohol in Society

This team is responsible for the implementation of our Sustainability and Responsibility agenda – ensuring we make positive contributions in the lives of our consumers, customers and employees with programs and initiatives that matter to them; promoting responsible drinking and combating alcohol misuse; as well as preserving the environment and the communities in which we operate, as we drive our growth agenda.

Policy & Public Affairs

This team is responsible for managing Guinness Nigeria’s relationship with external stakeholders; building and leveraging these strategic relationships with key people and institutions, aimed at ensuring proactive stakeholder engagement and policy development that builds and protects our reputation.

Regulatory Affairs

This team is in charge of anticipating and managing issues that may impact our license to operate; coordinating and aligning Guinness Nigeria’s involvement in external industry and trade organizations such as NAFDAC, CUSTOMS, etc., with the aim of strengthening our position and influence on the current and future industry agenda.
