Education

Guinness Nigeria has established a scholarship scheme for young school leavers in its host communities in Lagos, Edo and Abia States for the study of Engineering. The scheme is being implemented in collaboration with the Nigeria Society of Engineers.

We also promote technical education by sponsoring indigene students to the Institute of Industrial Technology (IIT), Lagos.  10 students have gone through this scheme in the last year.

In an effort to support computer education, we have donated several personal computers to some secondary schools across the country.

In 2004, Guinness Nigeria invested N11.5 million in the publication of a compilation of 20 years of past questions and answers from the Nigerian university matriculation examination. This reference book was publicly launched by the then Vice-President of Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.
